The DAR Good Citizens program is a brilliant way to recognize outstanding young people who exhibit the qualities of good citizenship in their homes, schools, and communities!
The DAR Good Citizens program and Scholarship Contest is intended to encourage and reward the sparkling qualities of good citizenship in our students. The program is open to all high school seniors enrolled in public or private schools accredited and in good standing with their state board of education. Students are not required to be United States citizens.
High school seniors interested in competing for the award and/or the scholarship should reach out to their school counselors as soon as possible in their senior year, as the deadline for this award is November 15th.
